Musician King Saha has joined a section of Ugandans demanding the release of opposition stalwart Kizza Besigye from prison.
King Saha took to his X account and called upon the authorities to release Besigye.
"We must all demand freedom for everyone, so let's hashtag #FREEBESIGYE," he wrote.
Bad Black has also called on authorities to release Besigye. She believes the former FDC leader needs medical treatment outside of prison.
"Free political leaders. Uganda is not an inheritance for your ancestors. Dr. Kizza needs to be pardoned to get treatment," she wrote.
The two have joined other Ugandans in demanding Besigye's freedom. The retired colonel is facing alleged treasonous charges in the court martial following his arrest from Kenya last year.
