Musician Kalifah Aganaga ventured into elective politics in 2025 and contested for the MP position of Kawempe North on the FDC ticket.
Reports now indicate the singer is considering changing his allegiance to the National Unity Platform.
It is alleged that he sees an opportunity for him to win office if he joins the National Unity Platform and is already contemplating the move.
"He wants to join the National Unity Platform ahead of next year's elections. He is, however, still considering which constituency to contest in because Kawempe North will continue with Nalukoola in the coming year," a source told this website.
Kalifah Aganaga might choose to contest in the Rubaga South constituency because that is where he grew up and is based.
