Female singer and dancer, Leila Kayondo is at it again, fighting for city tycoon Sule K Mbuga.
She is not fighting with her sister like before but rather tussling it out with another singer, a one Shamim Namawa.
It all started when Mbuga, who is Leila’s manager and boyfriend started managing the big butted Shamim.
This is said to have left Leila worried and annoyed.
It further escalated when Mbuga bought a Harrier car for Shamim, further bruising the relationship between these two former dancers and friends.
Shamim began her career as a dancer with Maisha dancers while Leila started with dream girls.
Leila has been Mbuga’s other rib for the past two years and the South Africa based businessman helped her record two of her hits last year with Jose Chamaleone.
She was among the most successful female musicians last year.
But it should not be forgotten that her relationship was marred by controversy the same year when her sister, a one Fatuma Zalwano came up accusing Leila of snatching her husband.
Zalwango says that Leila approached her for help. The help was to connect Leila to her husband to help promote her music.
“I did all I could and my husband agreed to help her. I later realized that Leila had taken my husband when I started seeing their pictures together flaunting front pages of newspapers.”
She adds that she tried all she could to stop Leila from taking her man but all failed.
“I even reached a point of involving family but all in vain.”
