Ghetto president H.E Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine has officially explained his efforts to keep away from politics saying it’s the safest way to live in today’s world.
Bobi is one of the few musicians who has for a long time distanced himself from politics despite pressure, and has always avoided the recurring question of why he shies away from any political affiliations.
Via his Facebook page, the Byekwaso Singer finally came out and explained that;
“it’s the safest way to live today” He added; “Yes I am silent on politics … today but I am very much aware that ONE DAY as the rulers will be accounting for what they did, some of us will be apologizing for what we never did,” he added.
“Am sure that in the end, people will remember not only the words of their oppressors but the silence of their friends too.”
