Former Kampala central division police commander Aaron Baguma has this morning failed to appear before Buganda road court claiming to be sick.
Baguma was early this week sent to Kigo by Grade One Magistrate Joan Acio, at Buganda Road Court on charges of murder.
Baguma was however expected to appear before the same court alongside three other suspects in the same case for mention of the case.
Reports from Kigo indicate that the troubled police commander is very sick and could not make it to court.
Baguma is alleged to have participated in the murder of Donah Katusabe at pine car bond premises in Kampala when he found her being tortured at the hands of Sebuwufu Muhammad the bond proprietor and his goons but didn’t help her.
Katusabe had apparently failed to clear a debt of 9m from a car she had bought. Baguma will be tried before high court as his case is beyond Buganda Road Court jurisdiction.
Court issued a production warrant, and adjourned to 6th September.
