Police in Kanungu is investigating circumstances under which unknown assailants hacked a one Twinobusingye Dinah to death.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson tells Howwe.biz, that Twinobusingye’s life was cut short by the assailants last night inside her house.
She was a resident of Mutojo cell, Bushura parish, Kirima subcounty, Kanungu district.
According to Maate, police visited the scene and the hunt for assailants has started immediately.
In a related development,Two people were executed by unknown angels of death. The two were sleeping in the same house when their heads were chopped off.
The incident according to Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate occurred at Kamonyi village, northern division kisoro Municipality, Kisoro district.
The deceased have been identified as Mugabe Kefa and Mftundinda Moses both aged 30 years. Police has arrested one suspect to help with investigations while the bodies have been taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem.
According to Maate, the deceased and suspect have been workers of Rev. Can. Baker, a resident of the same area.
