It has come to our attention that industrial based TV station Urban TV is massively laying off workers.

Sources at the station are revealing that the TV has spent a lot of time not making any revenue. We have also learnt that Vision Group MD, Robert Kabushenga, sent in threats to the TV boss, Bush Baby that the station has been given 6months to prove its point or face closure.

The management reacted by laying off workers to cut costs and presenters are being offered as low as 200,000 to do shows.

Yesterday, we managed to talk to one of the workers who told us 'URBAN TV is following in footsteps of WBS TV'.

It should be noted that for the last six months, Urban Tv has lost workers. The first one was the gossip queen Mary Luswata who had also lost relevance because her show was crumbling.

Fingers crossed, Howwe.Biz is praying for you Urban TV.
