Former Rubaga South Member of Parliament (MP), Kato Lubwama, passed away on June 7, after battling a long-standing heart issue. Despite seeking medical attention in international hospitals, he tragically succumbed to heart complications at Stana Medical Centre in Bunamwaya, Wakiso district.
At the time of his passing, Lubwama was actively involved in the preparation of a play called "Cease Fire," along with his fellow performers Charles James Senkubuge and Philip Luswata. The play aimed to shed light on the current state of the country.
Lubwama initially gained fame as a member and co-founder of the Diamonds Ensemble group. Furthermore, he became a prominent figure on Ugandan morning radio, where he hosted the Kalisoliso show on CBS FM.
