The Western Uganda music scene is heated up as the concert dates of two prominent artists in the region clash, sparking controversy among fans and music lovers.
Omega announced over the weekend that she will be staging a concert in Ishaka on May 10th at 707 Safaris (formerly Swing Inn).
These dates coincide with Ray G's concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala, causing controversy among fans, with many pointing fingers at Omega 256 for being jealous of Ray G's success.
Many critics believe Omega 256 should be in Kampala on that date to support Ray G, who is a backbone of music in Western Uganda and one of the individuals who openly welcomed Omega 256 to the music scene.
It's worth noting that in 2022, the two singers teamed up and recorded the song "Oli Wakabi," which topped charts across Western Uganda.
