Former Golden Band singer Karitas Kario has revealed she is not about to quit music, as her critics believe.
The singer, who recently released an extended play, explained she only took a break from active music to concentrate on raising her child.
"Those assuming my break was due to financial constraints are mistaken. I chose to step back to be a mother to my child. It's time people altered their perspectives towards others," she partly said in an interview with Spark TV.
Karitas emphasized it was not financial constraints that kept her away from the studio, but she wanted to give her all for her child at a tender age.
Karitas also announced she will be staging a concert soon for her fans.
