Media personality and news anchor Andrew Kyamagero announced his departure from NTV Uganda on Thursday this week.
In a post on his X account, Kyamagero bid farewell to the Nation Media Group after years of dedicated service.
"After years of sharing and anchoring the stories that shaped us as a nation, I am humbled by the unwavering support of you, our great viewers. Thank you for trusting me to bring the news that defined who we are. Deep gratitude to @ntvuganda for offering me a platform to serve my country in various capacities. Tonight marks my last bulletin. It’s been an honor and a privilege," he wrote on X.
According to media reports, Kyamagero is heading to China to pursue further studies after receiving a scholarship. He will be leaving the country soon.
