Musician Spice Diana and Catherine Kusasira’s concert dates clashed, as both artists announced January 10th next year for their concerts.
Spice Diana has now expressed disappointment and frustration over Kusasira's refusal to change her concert date.
The "Regular" hitmaker explained that she reached out to Kusasira after seeing her scheduled event and asked her to move to another date, but Kusasira has refused to listen to her plea.
"I don’t know why people do such things. I announced my concert first and even reached out to her through a phone call. I explained how much I’ve already invested in the event, but she chose to ignore me," she said in part during an interview with local television.
Spice Diana also added that she has long known Kusasira as a personal friend, and it hurts that she has now become hypocritical.
"I’ve been her friend for a long time. She even calls me to sing at her daughter’s birthdays, but that’s life. I never expected her to do something like this," she explained.
Spice Diana said she would have loved to attend Kusasira's concert if it were on a different date because she is a fan of her music.
"I would have loved to attend her show because I am her fan and want to support her, but now her actions won’t allow me," she added.
Despite the conflict, Spice Diana says her concert will go on as planned.
