Musician Jose Chameleone, as earlier reported, will be traveling to the United States on Monday next week for specialized treatment.

The latest update reveals that he will be accompanied by his brother, Weasel, who will serve as his caretaker at the hospital.

It is alleged that the Leone Island boss will be admitted to Allina Health Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, for at least one month.

His travel and medical expenses have been and will continue to be covered by USA-based socialite Juliet Zawedde.

This development means Chameleone's Christmas shows and New Year’s events will be postponed to a later date next year.

The singer has been hospitalized at Nakasero Hospital for over a week, battling acute pancreatitis — a condition reportedly caused by repeated and uncontrolled alcohol consumption, according to his son, Abba Marcus Mayanja.
