Media personality Zambali Bulasio Mukasa has confirmed his suspension from NBS Television following his political statements and public affiliation with the National Unity Platform.
In a recorded phone call circulating online, Zambali revealed he is on suspension at the moment and is focusing on other activities with his party, National Unity Platform.
Zambali explained he will be taking leave from the media in the next few months as he plans to participate in the primaries of NUP at parliamentary level in June of this year.
The media personality believes he is the right person for the job and will be trusted by his party and the constituents of Nansana Municipality to lead them on the parliamentary front.
Zambali Bulasio Mukasa will have stiff competition for the party ticket. He will face incumbent Wakayima Musoke, Ibrahim Mayanja aka Big Eye, and foot soldier Serukuma John Bosco, who have all expressed interest in the position.
