In an interview earlier this week, upcoming singer Carol Sky claimed Mudra took all the royalties from the "Hozambe" song and that the actual owner, D Star, receives nothing.
"Mudra is the one benefiting from the 'Hozambe' song. He took all the royalties from it on YouTube and other streaming platforms. He is so selfish; he took all the rights from the boy," she explained.
However, D Star says he is very content and grateful to Mudra for featuring on the song. He explained that Mudra made the song popular and more prominent, and even single-handedly invested in the video.
"I don't know why she is trying to tarnish the man's name. She is after cheap popularity. Why involve other people in your fight with Mudra? I am very content, and I don't have any problem with Mudra. He even made the song popular and used his personal money to invest in the video," he explained in a video circulating on social media.
D Star believes Mudra has a right to benefit from the song because he contributed to its popularity and significantly boosted his (D Star's) career.
