Dancehall musician Fik Gaza was arrested last week on charges related to aggravated robbery and continues to be kept behind bars.
However, following allegations that singer Pallaso is behind his arrest, he has come out and denied the claims, stating he is not the one responsible for the arrest.
"I don't know about his arrest, and I am not the one responsible. He is an independent person at the moment and a grown-up," he explained.
Pallaso, however, says he has tried to intervene in the matter to secure the release of Fik Gaza, but police say investigations are still taking place.
"I tried to find out about Fik Gaza, but the police said they are still investigating. We shall have to wait and see what comes of it," he explained in an interview with Sanyuka Television.
Pallaso also warned the ghetto youths to stay away from crimes and focus on economic growth.
