Bayimba International festival of music and the Arts is around the corner. The festival is one that the arts fraternity are counting on to uplift our culture and the arts at large.
This time round, it looks like the team is bracing up for yet an eventful year- that is if things go as planned.
The line-up for this year’s 8th annual Bayimba Festival looks lit with some of the major Ugandan acts scheduled to perform. This year’s Bayimba Festival will take place from September 18 – September 20 at National Theatre, Kampala, Uganda.
This year’s performance line-up is everything you would love to be part of.
Bayimba concert is going to be headlined by several home-grown skilled and talented artistes who have in the past years proved their worth on the music spectrum.
Multi-award winning duo Radio and Weasel, legendary Maddox Sematimba ,rapper St Nellysade, Karungi Sheeba, Naava Grey, Joel Sebunjo, Levixon, Daniel Okiro among others.
As always, Bayimba Festival will also host a number of international artistes from different regions. Acts like Msafiri from Tanzania, Aly Kouyate from Mali, Kareyce Fotso from Cameroon, Bado from Kenya, Mutcho from Burundi and many other.
