Aye star Davido took Twitter by surprise when he tweeted “I really shouldn’t be nominated this year. For what??
This happened following the release of last week’s MAMA nomination list.

The singer who has been struggling musically this year since his signing to Sony BMG admitted before public after a fan shared the nomination list that had nemesis Wizkid with 9 slots.
“Some of these artists only got nominated because @iam_Davido left the scene for 8 months to work on new project wiv Sony/RCA.” added Davido.
He further bragged how we should all wait for his forth coming massive show up next year as well a reminder of his previous performance in the awards.
“I got three MAMAS in two years I’m good. BUT NEXT YEAR...”
