The Vice president of the newly formed Uganda National Musicians Federation, Sheebah Karungi has revealed the group was formed because Uganda Musician Association (UMA) has failed on its promises.
Sheebah explained UMA is just a group of musicians with no direction.
"There is no leadership under UMA. It is now an association under the new Federation.
I have never been under any association because they don’t solve problems or challenges facing people, that is why a new group was formed," she said in an interview with local television.
The "Nkujukila' singer believes the federation will unite the industry for the better.
