Musician Ziza Bafana was once at the top of the Ugandan industry for over two years. He topped charts, and his music resonated across the country.
The singer, however, separated from Manager Roger, and that was like the last nail in his coffin. He has never returned to the top since.
The dancehall singer now says the industry is afraid of talented musicians and harbors much hate for them. He believes the music industry adores the untalented and disregards talent.
"I think there is a very big problem; this industry hates talented people, and it's the reason some people choose to go into politics. They were never appreciated and never shown love," he said in an interview with a local television station.
Bafana believes that industry people should share love among themselves for their own benefit.
