Joshua Baraka has declined a request to battle legendary singer Maurice Kirya.
When asked if he would be willing to take on Maurice, Baraka declined, explaining he grew up admiring Kirya's music, and he is an inspiration to him.
Baraka said he couldn't battle him because he has much respect for Kirya as a person and his craft.
"Growing up, Maurice Kirya has been an inspiration to me. I can't battle him because I have a lot to learn from him and I dearly respect him and his works," he said in an interview with Galaxy TV.
Baraka believes cooperation and unity are better for the development of the industry compared to battles.
