Musician Mike Wine successfully held his maiden concert over the weekend at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo in Kampala.
The crowds were huge and already hyped by 9:00 p.m., with performances from Kabako, Dax Vibes, Darx Kartel, Nina Roz, Fik Gaza, and many other artists.
It was a red brigade all night, and one might have mistakenly thought it was a National Unity Platform (NUP) rally due to the politicians who mobbed the venue.
Despite a large turnout from fans, Mike Wine failed to impress the crowd. He lacked composure and did not perform to the expectations of many who have long regarded him as a stage king.
The singer performed all his songs, but the crowd was later energized by his elder brother Eddy Yaawe and Levixone, who joined him to perform their collaborations "Guno Omwaka" and "Lunaku Lweluno."
Nevertheless, we congratulate Mike Wine on staging his maiden concert after such a long wait.
