On Thursday evening, NTV Uganda, through its entertainment show The Beat, announced a ban on playing music by Alien Skin and Pallaso until further notice.

The move was communicated by the presenters of The Beat: Sammy Wetala, Dagy Nyce, and Lynda Ddane, who emphasized that there is no room for chaos in the music industry.

"The presenters of #NTVTheBeat have announced that, as a show dedicated to entertaining and uplifting the public through transformative content, we will not be playing Pallaso's or Alien Skin's music until further notice. This decision comes in response to the chaos that erupted during last year's #Enkuuka," read a statement from the media house shared on their social media platforms.

NTV's The Beat took this step as a disciplinary measure to address the growing chaos and violence in the music industry.

It should be noted that the decision comes just days after an altercation between Alien Skin and Pallaso at Buloba Forest Park during the Empele Festival. Pallaso reportedly retaliated by attacking Fangone Forest, causing damage to property worth millions.
