Band musician Maureen Nantume has joined the growing list of artists planning concerts this year.
The singer took to social media to share the news with her fans, revealing that the concert will take place on November 21st at the Serena Hotel in Kampala.
"Who Is Readyyyyyyyyy?????? It’s Been God Since Day One 1️⃣ & I am Very Grateful 🙏🏻💪 21st NOVEMBER 2024 🎉 🎉 Dear lord I wanted to set a concert 'nga mwooli' [meaning unclear, perhaps "in style"], I dearly cover myself, this day, my fans, and everyone I am going to work with, in the precious blood of Jesus AMEN," she wrote.
Band musicians are set to dominate the concert scene this year. In January, Catherine Kusasira held her concert at the Serena Hotel. Geoffrey Lutaaya is scheduled to perform at the same venue this month. Sophie Nantogo, Stecia, and Eddy Yaawe have also announced their concerts.
