Musician Fyno, known for the popular hit "Che Che," has opened up about songwriting and the challenges of working with different artists.
The renowned songwriter expressed disappointment in writing for other artists and stated that he has given up on that path, focusing solely on his singing career.
In an interview with a local television station, Fyno explained that most artists are unappreciative and ungrateful. They are only friendly when they need his services.
"I have written songs for different people, and most of them have become hits, but few appreciate what I do. I have since given up on writing for other artists and am now focused solely on my own music. I will only write for friends," he explained.
Fyno mentioned that he has since increased his prices, charging between five to ten million Uganda shillings. This, he says, has helped him deter artists who seek his songwriting services.
