Musician Vinka has spoken about the recently approved copyright management system by the government.
The singer expressed happiness about its approval and says it is a good thing for artists, believing it will be implemented effectively for their benefit.
"As an artist, I was happy about the copyright management system and hope it works as per expectations," she explained.
Vinka, however, argued that copyright is not the biggest problem in the music industry currently.
She wants industry leaders to address unnecessary beef, fights, and competition because they hinder its growth and development.
"Our problems are beyond copyright, and it is not the biggest issue. Issues like unnecessary beef, competition, and fights should be addressed. I think those are the biggest problems, not copyright," she explained in an interview with a local television station.
Vinka maintains copyright is a positive development and appreciated Kenzo's efforts in advocating for it.
