Musician King Saha has accused Ugandan promoters of expensively hiring foreign artists, saying they overlook local talent.
In a live TikTok video, King Saha revealed that promoters bring in foreign artists with few songs and pay them excessively, instead of giving opportunities to local artists.
"They bring these foreign artists here, and they take our money with their limited music. Some of them even throw parties in their countries to celebrate, profiting from the Ugandan market," he explained.
He believes foreign artists, mostly from Nigeria, have targeted Ugandan promoters because they pay them handsomely. He says they later return to Nigeria and celebrate their earnings.
King Saha also declared himself an international artist and forbade anyone from comparing him to Nigerian artists, asserting that he is superior to them.
"Don’t compare me to those international artists. I’m the international one," he stated.
