Uganda police force has denied media reports that the institution has released information on the cause of death for the late AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi.
The police spokesperson AIGP Asan Kasingye calls these speculative reports which are untrue.
In a statement released this morning and seen by Howwe.biz, AIGP Kasingye explains that investigations into Kaweesi’s assassination is ongoing and the police have not released any reports to avoid jeopardizing the case.
He explains that once the investigation is complete, the force will announce the findings. Kasingye requested the public to disregard all sensationalism and disinformation round the death of AIGP Kaweesi and Officers, Kenneth Erau and Godfrey Mambewa.
He also urged the media and public to wait until they receive information from the police before spreading information.
