Police in Bukomansimbi is investigating the mysterious death of a man identified as Byamukama Onesmas a casual laborer, who was found dead in his bed this morning.

The deceased was working for Karonde Steven a businessman and resident of Kayanja village, Kitanda s/county, bukomansimbi district.

It is alleged that the deceased went to bed well last night, but delayed waking up which was unusual.

His colleagues tried to wake him by knocking on the door to his room several times, but there was no response.

They notified their boss who fetched the area chairperson and forced their way into the room only to find the deceased lying flat on his bed with foam oozing from the mouth. 

It is alleged that the deceased was a known epileptic patient.

According to Muhammad Nsubuga the PRO Masaka region, a team of homicide detectives visited the scene together with the scene of crime officers who thoroughly examined it and consequently carried out postmortem at the scene.

Police in Kabale is investigating circumstances under which a 30 years old man died suddenly. The deceased is Mark Tumuhimbise Drake a businessman and resident of Rwamukundi cell Mwanjari ward Southern division Kabale municipality.

IP Elly Maate the Kigezi PRO says they received information from Collins Mugisha a workmate and neighbor to the deceased, who alleges that Tumuhimbise was last seen in the evening hours of 31/01/22 at around 20:00hrs as he entered his rented room.

However, when he was not seen throughout the day on 01/02/22, they forcefully opened the door at around 15:00hrs and discovered him dead on his bed.

The deceased left his home in Rwanama cell, Kyamurari ward, Bugongi town council, Sheema district for studies at Kabale university where he graduated from.

However, he got a job at Cyber technologies stationary in Kabale and decided to stay.

Maate says the scene was visited by police and the body has been conveyed to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
