Musician and turned politician Hillary Kiyaga, also known as Dr Hilderman, has maintained that he can never curse Mpuuga over the 500 million Uganda shillings he awarded himself as a service award.
In an interview with Sanyuka Television on Tuesday morning, Hilderman explained that he understands Mpuuga did a wrong thing, but he can never judge him.
Hilderman, however, says he has to follow the party rules and guidelines; this is the only reason he signed the petition to call Mpuuga out of Parliament.
"There is politics at play. I can’t judge Mpuuga, but I stand with my party. Despite what happened, my party and I don’t believe in what he did—that’s why I signed the petition," he explained.
The Mawokota North Member of Parliament says people are frustrated across the country, and many don't have time to examine the situation. They just explode and curse everyone for a wrong act.
"People are frustrated. While some try to examine the situation, others don’t have time; they just want to explode. If my party petitions, I have to sign," he added.
