The Inspector general of police, IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura has attacked local TV station NTV of being partisan and unprofessional in their line of duty.
Kayihura was addressing the media today at Naguru when he lost it and said the station gives massive coverage to opposition FDC Iron man on top of portraying him as an angle or saint who is only hunted by police.
Kayihura is tired of being demonized. He says the media portrays his image as that of a devil that is always haunting Besigye.
His statements come on the same day, the media celebrate World Press Freedom day.
“You are partisan, I can quote NTV, I can give you examples, in fact I want to engage NTV, to show you how partisan and unprofessional you are,” Kayihura cursed.
