Teargas and pepper spray rocked the way where Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert the NUP presidential aspirant passed as he headed to Kyambogo grounds for his nomination.
Kyagulanyi arrived at least 30 minutes late for the exercise and is currently undergoing the nomination process.

Police fired teargas and pepper spray in Ntinda at Spere Motors respectively, to disperse crowds which had formed along the way to support him. 

EC chairman Justice Byabakama Mugenyi castigated Kyagulanyi for being late, explaining that his late coming would eat into the next candidate’s time.

Mugenyi said the nomination timelines should not be flouted by any candidate at leisure, and advised other candidates to make it on time. 

The National Unity Platform party presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu will later today Tuesday November 3, 2020 launch the party manifesto 2021-2026.
The launch which will take place this afternoon after the nomination of Kyagulanyi.
