Bridget Katungi was coroneted new Miss Uganda UK 2016 on Saturday 3rd December at a beauty contest held at Ark Globe Academy in London.
Bridget outshined 8 other finalists to win the coveted crown as Latisha Antoine and Vanessa Kaitesi emerged first runner-up and second runner-up respectively.
We have been told that the newly crowned Miss Uganda UK will now become the ambassador for the Child Sacrifice campaign Uganda, and will carry on the work of raising more awareness to stop child sacrifice.
The Miss Uganda UK pageant, now in its 6th edition, was held under the theme “Promoting Beauty, Descent & Culture”. The pageant is a platform intended to raise the profile of talented Uganda women and attract tourism and investment into Uganda and the UK through the entertainment industry by encouraging personal development and social enterprise.
