Socialite Jack Pemba has been keeping a low profile since business mogul, Godfrey Kirumira mounted search for him over a debt of about $300,000.
Pemba secured a loan from Kirumira promising to pay at least $100,000 by November last year and finish the balance by December 31, which did not happen.
Pemba did not bother to pay and this forced Kirumira to confiscate some of his cars, among them a land cruiser.
Court has now invited Pemba to negotiate new payment terms with Kirumira. Kirumira told court that he has failed to recover his money because he doesn't know Pemba's assets in Uganda.
It is a big question whether Pemba will honor court's summon. He had been previously summoned by police over a series of cases but he chooses to stay under ground.
