Musician Khadija Kopa, Zuchu's mother has distanced herself from her daughter's relationship with Diamond Platnumz.
Speaking to Wasafi media, Kopa stated that she did not acknowledge the relationship despite the two showcasing their love affairs across social media platforms.
She also claimed that Zuchu was yet to officially introduce her lover to her urging potential suitors to express their interest since Diamond had not officially married her daughter.
"I don't know about her relationships because the relationships we as old people know as stated in our culture is when someone comes home and introduces themselves, but I don't know about foreign relationships, so its best if you ask her about the relationship,"
"But she is not married yet, there is no dowry. If someone has money, they should come, it doesn't have to be a lot of money. Simba has not married her nor brought dowry, he is neither her husband nor her fiancé, anyone else can come,"
Recently, Zuchu addressed her relationship with Diamond after rumours of their separation emerged.
To further dispel the rumours, the two kissed publicly during a performance as they reaffirmed their bond and vowed to commit to one another.
“Sometimes people wonder how we have lasted this long, so they wait for something little to see our part. I cannot argue with the public; they will win when something comes online, and people distort it," Zuchu said.
