Earlier this month, musician King Saha attacked Chameleone, sparking a feud between the two that has been ongoing for days.
Many people have shared their opinions about the feud, including Sheebah Karungi, who believes that Saha has every right to demand respect from Chameleone, despite the fact that Chameleone helped him at the start of his career.
Sheebah explained that helping someone should be done wholeheartedly, without conditions or expecting favors in return.
"Helping rising artists shouldn’t come with conditions. You should help someone without expecting anything in return. So, if Chameleone helped King Saha at the beginning, that's good. But now, Saha is an accomplished artist, and you can’t take that away from him," Sheebah said in an interview with a local television station.
She also added that King Saha deserves respect from everyone, including Chameleone, because he is now a stand-alone artist and shouldn't be disrespected by the Leone Island boss just because he was once under his leadership.
"Gratitude is important, but respect should also be mutual," she said.
Sheebah believes that mutual respect is the best way forward for the two.
