Legendary musician Jose Chameleone has warned gossip monger Jane Namukasa to stop spreading falsehoods about him.
Chameleone's warning comes after Namukasa falsely alleged on Tuesday morning that the Leone Island boss is in jail following an altercation with Juliet Zawedde in the United States. She claimed that reports of Chameleone's illness were fabricated and instead alleged he was imprisoned for assaulting Zawedde.
However, it has since been confirmed that Chameleone is indeed ill and preparing to undergo pancreatic surgery.
Chameleone revealed that a video of Namukasa spreading these falsehoods was sent to him by promoter Abitex. He described the video as containing numerous untrue and negative statements.
He said Namukasa's allegations could have easily gotten her into trouble and urged her to think before posting on social media.
Chameleone explained that he will undergo surgery to remove some unwanted enzymes from his pancreas. He thanked Ugandans for their support and prayers for his quick recovery.
Chameleone has been in the United States since late December for further medical treatment. His hospital bills are being covered by the Ugandan government and socialite Juliet Zawedde. He is accompanied by Weasel, who is acting as his caretaker.
Gossip monger Jane Namukasa currently works with Balaam's Radio 4 and also has a presence on TikTok and YouTube.
