Musician King Saha is a passionate advocate for his country's music scene. With over a decade in the industry, he holds a strong belief in the unique quality of Ugandan music, even suggesting it surpasses Nigerian music in originality.

Saha argues that Nigerian artists have a history of borrowing from Ugandan sounds, implying a lack of distinctiveness in their work. He personally expresses no admiration for Nigerian artists, attributing their perceived success more to confidence than actual musical superiority—a trait he feels Ugandans, in general, lack.

"When Nigerian artists come here, they try to copy us," Saha explains. "I don't want to be like any Nigerian artist. Ugandans just lack confidence in everything they do."

He also points to the difference in national development as a key factor, suggesting that comparing the two music industries is unfair given Nigeria's earlier economic advancements. "You should stop comparing Ugandan artists to Nigerians because those countries developed a long time ago, unlike Uganda," he adds.
