Musician King Saha has not participated in elective politics before but continues to be a driving force in opposition politics.
He is a man who has a large following and is a darling of supporters in the National Unity Platform.
King Saha has called upon artists to continue engaging in politics. He says many of them should come out and take up leadership positions because they go through the same struggles as ordinary Ugandans.
"I would encourage many of them to engage in politics because they go through the same struggles as ordinary Ugandans. Artists travel the whole country and understand how terrible the situation is; they should come out and represent their people for the better," he explained.
King Saha, however, says he will only support those who will come up through the opposition and will go against those who will seek leadership positions through the National Resistance Movement.
