After a summer of Taylor Swift’s endless roll call of guest stars on her 1989 tour, it was her turn to make a megawatt cameo at the 2015 VMAs on Sunday night. Nicki Minaj performed “Trini Dem Girls” before calling Swift out as herguest for “The Night Is Still Young.” They closed out the set with a brief bit of Swift’s aptly-named song “Bad Blood.”

Most people are wondering if this will put an end to whispers of an alleged feud between Swift and Minaj sparked by some heated Twitter exchanges right after the VMA nominations were announced. Both women have since made nice with their tweets, but cleverly used this public forum to put any rumors to rest. They even hugged it out.

But as the musical artist with the most nominations at the VMAs tonight, Swift wasn’t up for just a cameo in someone else’s set. The show also opened with the debut of her dramatic new video for “Wildest Dreams.” Here she is, in full old-school Hollywood glamor mode.
