Liverpool will continue their summer spending spree by matching the £32.5m buy-out clause in Christian Benteke's contract to bring the 24-year-old Belgium forward to Anfield. (Daily Express) 

Raheem Sterling, 20, will report for pre-season training with Liverpool on Monday, but the forward's participation in the club's pre-season tour of Bangkok is in serious doubt. (Independent)
