Musician King Saha was reportedly arrested by security operatives in Bukoto last night, shortly after his performance was cut short.
City deejay Nimrod broke the news of King Saha's arrest via his X handle, sending his fans into massive prayers for his safety.
"At the @villa, @kingsaha256 has been arrested and his performance was cut short by security officials. He has been taken to an unknown place," the post on DJ Nimrod's X account read.
Before his arrest, King Saha explained he doesn't fear being arrested and that he will not be intimidated by security operatives.
"Even if they arrest me, they’ll let me free. Let me finish my performance," King Saha was heard pleading to Mr. Henry, the host of the live band show at the Villa.
King Saha has lately been very critical of the government, and reports indicate his arrest is linked to political reasons.
