Musician and Presidential Advisor Catherine Kusasira has revealed that she is perfectly healthy and unbothered by critics of her size.
The singer explained that those who insult her because of her size are simply naysayers with nothing better to do. She remains focused on her work and does not let negativity affect her.
"I don’t mind my size, and I’m perfectly healthy. My body is just fine. Sometimes you look at people who insult others and wonder why they are wasting their time because some of us are too focused to mind them," she said during an interview with a local television station.
Kusasira also opened up about health struggles she faced last year, which even required her to seek treatment abroad.
"When I grabbed the microphone, I felt like I couldn’t breathe, and the words wouldn’t come out. I went to Mulago, where I was told that my veins were blocked," she explained.
She added that she received treatment abroad and clarified that she did not need financial assistance, contrary to allegations.
"I was sick, and when I got to the hospital, I was treated and felt much better. But I didn’t really need any money like people said," she added.
It should be noted that Catherine Kusasira is staging her concert on January 10 at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
