Aged 83, he was the godfather of musician Jose Chameleone’s wife, Daniela.
Father John Scalabrini passed away St Francis Hospital, Nsambya in Kampala, in 2016.
Daniella loved him so much and whenever he had issues with Chameleone, he would run to him for help.
When Chameleone left his marital home in Seguku, he was welcomed by father Scalabrini into his house.
After his death, rumours circulated that he had left behind a will and Daniella is the sole beneficiary of the late father’s empire.
In a brief conversation with Daniella’s close friend and spiritual sister, we have been reliably informed that despite the on-going public stunts, Daniella has never been the same.
She spends most of her time in Bbina, Mutungo at the late father’s house.
In a telephone interview with Daniella, she acknowledged that she spends of her time in Mutungo simply because she is still facing the hardest time in her life but refused to give more details. She just asked us to put her under prayers.
When asked about the divorce rumours, she refused to talk and switched off her telephone instantly.
