While in Nabweru court on Monday, Pastor Bujingo maintained his ground and said he preaches only to House of Prayer Ministries members and well-wishers.
He says he will continue protesting against bibles that are full of satanic things.
“I preach to only HPM members and well-wishers, so those who feel okay with those fake Bibles shouldn’t waste their time following my teachings, and they should stop listening to Salt FM or watch salt TV. I wasn’t called for everyone”, he told the court when asked whether he told people to burn Bibles.
He was then showed the Good News Bible and tasked to say whether he recognised it as a Bible. He said that the words written on top of the bible doesn’t correspond with the words inside.
“Half a dose is more dangerous than over dose. The bible is not the word written on the cover but the content”, he told court.
The accusers were told to produce evidence that Pastor Bujingo truly burnt the Bibles as there were no witnesses or video recording. No one produced the evidence. This prompted the judge to set 29th August as the ruling date.
