Tanzanian musician Diamond Platinumz's performance of Aziz Azion's song "Nkumila Omukwano" at Kololo Airstrip over the weekend has sparked excitement among fans of Ugandan music.
Aziz Azion has said that he is open to doing a remix of the song with Platinumz, and that he will be flying out to Tanzania in September after holding his concert at Serena Hotel.
"I felt the love and I will be flying out to Tanzania to do a remix of Nkumila Omukwano with Diamond after staging my concert," Azion said in an interview with a local television. "He loves the song and has prophesied it a lot of times."
Platinumz has been a vocal fan of "Nkumila Omukwano" in the past, and has even performed the song at his own concerts. The remix, if it happens, would be a major coup for Azion and would help to introduce his music to a wider audience.
