Phina Masanyalaze has returned to the leadership of Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) after having disagreements with Kenzo, the President of Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).
Masanyalze is alleged to have been dissatisfied with how money was distributed among some members of the federation. She reportedly got less than she expected, which led to a scuffle with Kenzo. This eventually saw her ditch the federation and return to UMA.
Cindy, who is the President of UMA, welcomed Masanyalaze back to the association and revealed that more members will be returning to their positions.
"I am back and Phina Masanyalaze is back with the association. She will continue to steer her duties as she did before. It's just the start and many will be back to us," she said.
Masanyalze left UMA as the association's Secretary General, and Cindy says she will continue in that role.
