The dancehall sensation has initiated a conflict with Abitex Promotion, issuing a stern warning that urges them to cease organizing concerts if they lack the financial means to adequately compensate musicians.
Bafana elaborated on his stance, highlighting how Abitex continually finds themselves entangled in disputes with musicians over payment. While Bafana is enthusiastic about staging performances, he insists that Abitex's unwillingness to remunerate artists for their talents remains a concerning issue.
"I am of the opinion that Abitex hasn't made meaningful contributions to the music industry. Instead, they seem to be exploiting it for personal gain. How is it that you find yourself in persistent conflicts with musicians regarding payments? If your resources have been depleted, it might be best to exit the business altogether. Your actions are stifling the very artists who make the industry thrive," Bafana expressed.
Additionally, the struggling dancehall artist extended his appreciation towards Alien Skin for extricating Abitex from the Nkwatcho festival, applauding the move as a positive step for the music community.
