Musician Joseph Mayanja, aka Jose Chameleone, will be celebrating forty years on April 30th, which falls on a Tuesday this week.
The singer has, however, spent almost half of that time making music across East African borders.
Speaking about the name Chameleone, the legendary hitmaker explained that he chose it because it reflects the diversity within him.
He is not limited to one style; he can perform all styles of music and consistently deliver quality.
"I am Joseph Chameleone because I’m full of diversity; I can perform every style of music. But some Ugandans, with their limited education, say I’m Chameleone because I change colors," he partly said.
Chameleone held his birthday celebrations at the Villa in Bukoto.
