Almost every week, there is an artiste 'launching a new album.' With poor preparations and few songs, most Ugandans feel cheated.

Managing Director/Owner at Events Security Services, Dixon Bond Okello, has graded the concerts as he has surpervised them through provision of security and organisation as below:

These are the top five, in terms of attendance, quality, the response from the fans ,media and security:

1. Dr. Chameleon's Wale Wale Concert

Over 9000 attended and it was the most organised concert ever staged at Kyadondo. Access to the venue (gates),VIP and back stage arrangements were simply world class. I don't need to add more.

2. David Lutalo Concert at Africana Hotel.

This young man ,shocked all stake holders in the music industry. With a new young promoter called Derick, the concert was very successful. Thousands attended and the organisation of the concert was equally good.

3. King Saha at Freedom City.

The new kid on the block had a blast.Thousands attended, but the choice of venue let him down. His manager Sam Mukasa also did a good job advertising the event.
Yes freedom city ,has the facilities, but most corporate people ,always shy away from the venue. There many pity theives that love that place.

4. Best of Goodlyfe Concert - Radio and Weasel.

Honestly, the duo are good but this time round, they didn't put up a great performance as expected.Fewer people attended ,compared to previous shows. The management team, didn't do their home work well this year. You have to market ,advertise and promote your event.Fans were also disappointed when Radio started insulting Promoter Balaam and a member of parliament. The duo should work on their PR.

5. Irene Namatovu Concert at African hotel.

Well ,for one that only sings in Luganda, her fans were mainly down town guys. She got a good turn up and sold a number of CD's at the venue.

Well, there you get it....That's his opinion and your entitled to yours.
